tankbag/ tail pack

Tank bag or tail pack

This is my givi tank bag
I bolted a givi quick release ring to a shaped plastic  board  that was bolted   to the standard rack.

A second ring could  be attached to the tank filler cap

Murf46. Genius!  That's a brilliant idea. Do you know which Givi tank flange fits the 950? Is it the BF11?

Yes BF11

I have a BF11 for the tank and  use a ring from previous bike for the tail pack

If you look under the bike rack you will find two captured nuts I drilled up through these then through the black plastic board

That's exactly the bag I've just bought up to15L expandable. Givi XS307 Just slightly scrapes the bars on full lock but ideal for normal riding. so glad I didn't go for the Givi 5L one that Ducati have in "Urban" pack for stupid money that only holds one tin of Pepsi. Got mine for 75-00 off the web.

Top removable map pocket takes 10" tablet for all my Digital Ordinance survey maps and GPS app.
BF11 ring does fit. Not very solid feeling. But 2Kg weight limit. "safety strap" more like a "dangerous" strap IMHO.

I see your keeping to the Ducati tradition of using four different headed screws on the same attachment. LOL :305:
