Hi bmw_all

It is not a rip off, it is where the original's are made, even the ones of Duc themselves. I will not share the details of the manufacturer unfortunately, it is because I have an ex collegea working in China and the info was FYE only... :034:

Interesting - where do I find the storefront for this manufacturer??! Presumably it isn't branded Evotech - is it a rip off (for which our good  Chinese friends are famous..) or the actual factory where Evotec have theirs made?  I may have to investigate....

Do a search on Aliexpress and you will find plenty stores selling this, the oil radiator guard or a full kit with both. I was considering myself but I guess I added already enough weight! 😕

Hello all, the bike is now two weeks in my possession and besides driving it I also personalized it. The results so far I like to share with you all. It's all done by myself with the use of carbon wrapping. Also made my own GPS mount for the TT550 rider.
See pictures;

What is the thickness of the carbon fibre plate used for the GPS mount. Are you happy with the firmness, as in there is very little or no vibration with the GPS itself?
Thanks in advance.

@wethogs;

It is made from a aluminum plate with 5 mm thickness, after sawing, drilling and bending I wrapped it with carbon film to make it look nicer.
It is very sturdy, no vibrations at all. The looking angle can be modified by bending it more or less. I use a 15 degr. angle.

kind regards,
Sybe

Multi950,
I have the "C-Bow" frames on a Tiger 800 and they're solid, how strong are they on the 950 Multi? Don't look as well made i.e. the tubing seems smaller...

mcinlb;

The c-bows on the Multi 950 are also strong and solid. During assembly you will notice :001: since I had to put some tension on the tubes. I ordered a new C-bow set for the MTS 950 since I used them also on my MTS1100S and kept the cases. The set is sturdy and strong.

Hi Multi950, please could you tell us where did you get the carbon wrapping? I saw on sites a so called 5d, usually glossy, but didnt seem as real as yours 😁
