more torque info
« on: August 25, 2020, 04:25:39 PM »
Sorry to open up the torque but thought you might be interested in my results.
Using a  Norbar 8 - 54 Nm and Norbar 50 - 230 I found the following by slowly increasing the setting until the nut/screw started to undo. I cannot guarantee the calibration of the Norbars.
Front forks pinch bolts 16Nm
Front axle shaft nut 58Nm
Rear axle 230Nm
The surprise is the rear axle figure
If this has caused confusion with previous figures my apologies. Shows even more why Ducati should release the torque figures. I bought the bike from new and have no reason to suggest the wheel has been off, however the chain may have been adjusted during a service.
About to put a pair of Metzler Roadtec 01 on after 9000 miles the original rear tyre had squared off.
