Beak Sensor Function Question

I’m hoping someone might know the function of the single electrical sensor attached on the inside of the front beak fairing in front of the oil cooler? Despite what I “thought” was careful removing of the beak for a color swap, I pulled out the wires. Many thanks for any help you can provide. (2017 950)

I believe the air temperature sensor lives in the beak.

You are absolutely right. Thanks so much. I just did some more frantic searching and learned just how important that one little seemingly random sensor is. Figures.

For anyone else interested I discovered that the connector is a Metri 150.2 PED and fairly sure the wire gauge is 21. Looks like I’ll be learning how to crimp this weekend. All because I wanted to swap a red beak from a 1200.
