Seat
« on: April 21, 2017, 08:42:29 AM »
Good Morning all,
I would like to know if everyone is happy with their seat as after about a 2 hour ride I find it very uncomfortable.
Would like to hear your views on the matter.
Martin

I have the lower seat. I've had some gel seats and touring seats on previous bikes and I always need a break after about an hour or so. As for this seat, I find it ok but still need that break around an hour.. standing up on occasion at low speeds helps to relieve things 😉

I find that after a long ride i have slipped down the seat and its tight on the old nuts 😂
I just shuffle back and all is well. I do find it is fine for me and a firm seat I do prefer.
My longest time in the saddle without stopping is 2hrs.

I give you all an update after my 2500mile round trip to Catalunya in June.

I've got 6000 plus on mine now , I've found it pretty good. If doing really long miles a pair of cycling shorts with built-in gel pads about 6.00 are way more comfortable than spending a fortune on a comfort seat.
