Accessories Plug
« on: July 16, 2017, 09:05:32 PM »
Hi everyone, I just finished mounting a ram mount for my gps and have found that the accessories plug on the Garmin is too big for the socket (cigarette lighter). I have been told that these are a standard size in North America. Is the European standard smaller? I would think that Ducati would put a North American accessories outlet on a North American bike. Am I missing something? Has anyone run into this problem? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. :148:

I replaced the euro plugs with american plugs.  Not to hard to do.  I changed the one on the dash to 2UBS plugs instead of the euro plug.

Is this Garmin sat nav unit a car unit or a bike unit?? as if its a bike unit I would of thought it would just have bare wire ends
If I had a second brain cell it would be so lonely......
