Well done  6800 miles and still a few k left in them although the front seems to be wearing as fast as the rear which is unusual. Think they are OK and way better than Scorpion Ones... :151: Anyhoo plugged a puncture in the rear 1000 miles ago and its letting go slowly so going to change them both out for Avon Trail Riders which I have had before on my Tiger 800. So will let you know. Annual service coming up as well, expensive week :159: bye bye s

I am replacing the original Scorpion Trail II after 10,000 miles, the front still has plenty of tread. They have been great sport touring tires, as good or better than many other brands I have tried (on other bikes) They did fime in all conditions except mud.
I am replacing them with a set of Shinko 705, 80/20  dual sport tires" (80% road 20 % off road) as I want to see how the MTS can perform off the pavement.
We're lost but we're making great time!

The Skinkos have been fine. Much better than the Scorpions on dirt or gravel and very good on pavement wet or dry.
I am on my second rear now. The only complaint I have is the sidewalls are so stiff I can't change them myself with my manual tire changer.

You are welcome!
I replaced it at 7000 miles. It could have gone another 500 or so but I had a 1500 mile trip coming up.

I had mounted over the years Michelin Pilot Road 4 and Road 5 on my Monster. Amazing rubbers with excelent grip, even on wet. And last like...forever :)) Road 5 will be probably fitted next on MTS.

RIDE mag has just rated the Pirelli Scorpion Trail 2 as the top , no 1 "adventure" tyre out of a set of 6 tested.
Having just bought a MTS 950S , I thought these tyres were OK  "out of the box".
I also have a Tiger 800 with the Michelin R5's fitted and I do think these are better but are fully road orientated.
