Screen Replaced Under Warranty

When paying a visit to my dealer last week to have the long overdue heated grips fitted (just in time, given the cold weather), I mentioned that there were a couple of small cracks in the screen around one of the mounting points. The service manager immediately took a pic and said that he would get a claim in for a new screen but would I want another standard one or the smoke-tint touring screen? Tinted screen!...yes please. I've just had it put on and it is good. Same shape as the standard one but about 2 inches taller, which suits me fine as I'm over 6 foot tall.

The mechanic who fitted it said that he's had to replace several showing the same fault, so take a look around your mounting points and, if there is a problem, Ducati will replace.

Nice that they replaced it without fuss and even let you choose the tinted one. How does it look like with the tinted? Could you share a photo?

...just to say that I had some small cracks radiating from the lower of the three mounting bolts - clearly they are overtightening on  assembly . Dealer replaced no problem

I also have found a crack on my screen where one of the bolts are, reported this to my friendly dealer and sent him pictures now replacement on the way.
