Shoei Neotec 2 is also my lid of choice, hi-viz graphic  :001:
For 1,700 (I think) has a very low weight on my head, I almost do not feel it. I get wind buffering at high speed in the forehead, but this is because of the windscreen. I ordered the gran turismo screen from Ducati to fix this.
I plan to buy the SRL intercom for Neotec, I heard only good things about it.

I don't if you guys already know, maybe some not and this will be helpfull.
On Shoei web site you can registred your helmet for 5 or 7 years extended warranty. More info you can find online :)

I still use a 3 year old Shoei Neotec 1 still and happy with it but for hot weather find it lacks ventilation so I use a shark Evo One Two for maximum airflow
