No much further west.  Crossing Pulliam Creek west of Barksdale and heading to Rocksprings.

Or at least what passes for dirt in that part of the rocky Hill Country.  The route was about 40% gravel and dirt with lots of water crossings.  If you live in South Texas, I sometimes ride with a group that organizes through Texas Adventure Riders Association.  The website is www.twtex.com.  You can find the gps file at that site if you look for the Adventure Rider Breakfast Series - San Antonio.

Yes, I'm in San Antonio, Shavano Park area.  We have a group that rides every Sunday, but primarily street in the hill country.  Some dirt would be pretty nice.  I'm going to look it up.

Hello.

Last sunday I did 250km between Barcelona and sant feliu de Guixols.  A very nice road from Tossa de Mar to sant feliu with a lot of curves on the coast. 23 degrees. A perfect day.

Been nowhere this week, but as I am out of work at the moment, I spent some time cleaning the front exhaust downpipe - it's come up a treat!  I used Harpic Power x10 with a nylon scourer, which did most of the work, before rinsing off, and polishing with autosol.
Pictures don't look amazing as I took them inside the garage, but even the blue right at the top of the header has cleaned off.  Re-applied ACF 50 to the whole front head/exhaust area (most of which will largely burn off...) but thats that job done for another year!

As much as Im ready for spring to come, I sure do love the Blue Ridge Parkway in winter. No heavy traffic, forever views and if you catch a day with mild temps and brilliant sunshine theres no better feeling than ripping twisties on a sport machine.

Off to the Dealer for the 600 mile service, and letting them install the heated grips. Next week, the Arizona desert.
