Frame rubber bungs
« on: January 28, 2018, 05:01:02 PM »
Anybody else noticed the big rubber bung, just under the riders leg on the frame, working it's way out?

I've always thought both of mine were a bit proud but they have worn through my over-trousers on both sides and badly on the gearchange side. I covered the rip with packing tape (I know, cheapskate!) but they ripped that off too.

Out of frustration I gave both bungs a thump and low and behold they went right in  further than they've ever been  :157: Hopefully they won't catch now and I'll get some new baggy over-trousers - (I won't, I'll make them last then use some ski pants that don't get enough use  :018: )
If I knew what I was doing I would probably stop doing it.

:008: Like they say; if you have a problem you can guarantee that others have had, or will have it too  :008: The good news is they seem to have stayed in and my ski pants are fantastic at keeping the cold and rain out  :152:

I originally came on hereto see if I could find out what size the front and rear wheel nuts were. I understand the rear wheel nut is 36mm but as yet I have no idea what size the front one is. Do you know? :086:
