Photos of screens
« on: April 29, 2018, 07:52:15 PM »
Hi all.

Would be useful if those that have changed their stock screen to an aftermarket screen post a photo of their screen and how much it cost.

I have the standard screen (which I'm relatively happy with) but I'm considering a change, possibly to a smoked version for improved looks.

Hi "theNozzle" can you please show a photo of your actually bike with the screen on please. I'm sure Wassers will agree that what he wants to see.

I'm in the same boat. The standard screen imo is crap really for wind buffering so am looking for a tried and tested screen. What's your opinion on the Givi screen from standard. It looks great 👍

Hat tip to Moto 45 - I have the MRA Touring Screen plus X-creen Sport Screen (clip on not bolted), in smoke color.   It has greatly reduced the wind buffeting and noise for me.  My height is 6'0".

Me too. It's a poor site to upload pictures.
I don't know how people upload with no border like mine 🤔
This is the tinted Ducati touring screen. Better than the standard but still noisy. I'm 6'1" tall.

Few images of mine, its the Givi D7406ST, albeit very fly splattered.... :002:

No buffeting at 70mph +, I am 6' 1" and was able to ride very comfortably with my visor up

Had a good opportunity to test the screen last week (1,000K trip) and found wind buffeting to be a problem over 100 kph - with a sense of slight weaving from side to side - especially behind a van or truck.

I tried the screen at different heights with the lowest height showing a small improvement - but then not giving the same wind/rain protection.

Other than that, the bike performed perfectly.

So, I'm also on the market for a replacement screen - but am still unsure what to buy.

I want to reduce - or preferably, get rid of the buffeting, remain protected from wind and rain and to be able to see over the screen.
