At the moment I am riding a Tiger 800 Roadie, this will be removed from my garage at the end of the 2018 season and for the 2019 season a new machine must stand in its place.

I am down to a short list of 2, Ducati Multi 950 or the Yamaha XT1200Z, all comes down to the roadtest on Friday this week. The Yamaha has already been extensively tested , as I owned one uptil 2013 (First Edition).

For me the Ducati is the prettiest bike of its kind on the market and I think the 950 cubic more than adequate for everything I need. The Yamaha has the advantage of a shaftdrive and although its heavier you never really notice the weight and it has grunt but the Ducati Dealer is only up the road from me :D

It's a tough choice. I think most here would recommend the Ducati  :008:  :305:
If I knew what I was doing I would probably stop doing it.

:401: Slaine. Youve come to the wrong place if youre after unbiased opinions. Go on, you know you really want the Ducati....you wont regret it  :002:

Hello and welcome
Bikes are a personal choice and those two offer very different riding experiences - the decision is yours but just remember :-
Red is best 😉
Full of enthusiasm - in all the wrong places

Slaine - Go with the Ducati... and order some boots with big heels  :005: :745:

Sometimes you need a really crooked road to get your head straight
