R&G Radiator Guard
« on: May 11, 2018, 02:51:30 PM »
Brand new. I gave up trying to fit this, yesterday, alongside Heed crash bars; my fingers gave up trying to to hold the bars and rad guard in place and get the bolt through them in to the near side radiator mount whilst pulling aside the oil pipes. All too much for me nowadays.

All Ive done to it is to stick on the anti-vibration pads.

Half price at 30 + postage.

If you can't get the brackets to fit remove them and cable tie the rad guard in place.

This is what I did as I purchased a 1200 guard second hand and the brackets would not fit

My guard has  been on for more than a year now and never moved be a shame not to have the protection

Thanks for that, Murf. Ill give it a go in the morning. Ive plenty of heavy duty ties in the garage.

Job done! I cut off the two top mounting bracket and it now wedges snuggly between the crashbar mounting brackets and the radiator. A couple of cable ties on each of the lower corners and it is nice and secure. Thanks, murf  :062:
