Roasted Nuts
« on: July 05, 2018, 11:50:40 PM »
Im just back in after attending an event at The Bike Shed in Shoreditch. The ride there was ok, even though it was pretty warm. When I left at about 10.30 the temperature was about 26C and so humid. The traffic heading out of the East End was manic, plus every set of lights turned red approaching them. It was only a matter of minutes until the bikes temp. was into three figures and it then started getting quite uncomfortable. After about 25 minutes of this, my gentlemans parts were feeling somewhat frazzled  :005: and didnt cool down until after Ilford when I started making some progress. Not the best bike for those riding conditions!
