Brake Service
« on: July 10, 2018, 11:17:50 AM »
Well, it's been 3000 mile since I had all my brake pads replaced because there was nothing left on them, so I thought I'd whip them off and have a look.

Very easy to give them a quick check and clean. About 30 minutes. They all look ok but I don't think they'll last beyond the 18000 mile service and I will almost certainly need disks too. Chain and sprockets are beginning to look worn also, so I better start saving my pennies :012:
Anything more than two wheels is unnecessary.

6700 miles on my rear and will need new disc and pads.   $503.00usd.  My Harley is 250lbs heavier
And I get 20k on the rear.
Life behind bars enjoy the ride

Harleys never go fast enough to need braking.
