Haha, didn't you go the whole way and replace the wheels at the same time?

Just got back from having Metzeler Roadtec 01s fitted.

They are reassuringly expensive however just one word describes these tyres....

.... Epic!

If anyone is getting close to needing new rubber I highly recommend them.

BTW, my tyre fitter mentioned Metzeler tyres are going up in price in February... so be quick to avoid the price increase.

When I did a search for them on the bike selector on their website the 01's werent an option as being available for our bike. Dont go off road with them !!

I've been happy with the Scorpions so staying with what I'm confident with 👍🏼
I'm up to 9800 miles and could get another 1500 plus but the front has started to twitch in damp conditions and nearly on the nobbles so better to change now before the new season kicks in.

My price was ride in/out at Ducati Manchester and surprised the dealer would be so competitive at 295 total at least the chain and torque settings
Should be set correctly 😁

What did they cost and who fitted them? Just curious.

320 for a ride in/out service.

I always use GTC in Guildford who specialise in motorbike tyre fitting. Really knowledgeable and friendly guys.

I've now got 1500 mile on the Anakee 3's and I'm a bit disappointed. They don't seem to corner half as well as the original tyres so I can't really recommend them over the Pirelli Scorpions. It could be the damp and greasy road conditions we have at the moment but I don't ever remember giving the Scorpions a second thought. I might even swap them out early and go for Wassers recommendation - he seems to know what he's talking about  :033:  :001:
Anything more than two wheels is unnecessary.

I certainly do Conman  :038:

Get them changed to the Roadtec 01s. It will feel like a new bike again. I promise you, you won't regret it.
