Grip Puppies

Fitted these grips today & they were a complete see you next Tuesday to fit, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED they go over the normal grips

as an after though should of left the clutch side a little long to cover up the gap

I’ve got a couple of pairs of these in the garage, taken off previous bikes. I’ve not felt the need to put them on the Multi as I’ve found the grips very comfortable with no annoying vibes coming through. I’ve not had any problems fitting them, using diluted liquid soap. Why the big gap on the clutch side and what is that fitted on the grip?

I have lots of vibrations through the grips especially with thin summer gloves

The gap has been there from new, their normal grips not the heated one

The gizmo on the grip is the remote for my helmet comms system

People that have used liquid soap have said that as the soap doesn’t evaporate or dry when It rains the grip slides as the soap becomes slippery again

I've used these before and found they made the grips way to big. Comfortable on a long journey but after a bit of stop start brake and clutch action it started to hurt around my thumb which became really bad when commuting.

Now that winter is here thought i would add the grip puppies do allow a very noticeable amount of heat to come through.  Felt on M or H.  Could not feel much on low.  I put these on in July because the Ducati heated grips are a slight  1/8 inch less in circumference then the stock grips.
 The grip puppies added a little more probably over 1/4 inch in circumference.
They are very comfortable, they make aceleration much easier because you twist less and get more.
For my wrist and hands these are beneficial.  And throtle control is better.
