Hello from Texas USA
« on: March 07, 2017, 03:26:54 PM »
Just picked up my Multi 950 on Friday.  I'm South of Houston on the Texas coast.

Working hard to get past break in. :305:

Hi David - what does the handbook say about breaking in? When I raised this with the dealer he said they don't really need breaking in - just keep it below 6000 revs for a couple of hundred miles.... Are you enjoying it?

For first 1000 km (621 miles), less than 6000 rpm
Between 1000-2500 km (1553 miles), less than 7000 rpm

I'm enjoying it tremendously. :001:  Keeping to the running-in recommendations is taking some serious restraint.
