First Service Done!
« on: March 15, 2017, 07:06:32 PM »
My first service is done!  Only a few more hundred miles until I can explore higher RPMs :007:

Not terribly shocking on price.  And they served up some fine coffee while I waited.  US$70 in filter/washers/oil plus 2 hours of labor.  Out the door for $360.

The first thing I noticed was a perceivable improvement in gear shift movement.  I wonder if the running-in oil was a lighter viscosity, or perhaps non-synthetic?   Clean bill of health and ready to put on some miles :305:

I'm on 320 miles so not that long to go for mine 1st service.
Current issues....rear brake squeals very loud...rattle sound from the engine and I have checked the oil level and it's fine. My first Ducati and this may be standard?
It's the best bike by far that I have had and am very happy.
Off to Spain for Catalunya GP in June so the long distance review will follow 😀

I am needing to get mine done. Service light is on, need to schedule my 4 hour round trip and service time. This is my 3rd Ducati and i am hearing an unusual rattle as well. Certain kind of off load between 2500 and 3500 rpm especially. Does not do it sitting in the driveway going through the revs. Hopefully just a noise air cooled versions dont make and i dont have to worry about it.

Just on 500 miles so another 125 to go, must say since about a 100 miles I too have an annoying rattle which starts at 2500 revs doesn't do it on idle but really annoying as it seems to be directly under me, also back brake squealing and lots of false neutrals, I wonder how many have this especially the annoying rattle?

No rattles but still getting false neutrals between 6th and fifth going down the box

However   finding neutral is not a problem any more
