Puncture repair kit
« on: May 10, 2019, 06:26:35 PM »
Hi

Can anyone recommend a tubeless puncture repair kit to keep on the bike?
Foam can or screw in plugs type?

Thanks

I have this one under the seat. It's screw plugs, but I can not say much about that, I never have used one before.

Plenty of kits on e Bay - all very much containing the same items. I would however recommend the Rocky Creek compressor if you have a pannier or bag  to take it  - compact and powerful - saves messing about with those CO2 cartridges ( three of those that are contained in the kits will only give you a limited "get you to a garage" tyre pressure of something like 14 psi  )

With a plug kit and portable compressor you can be back on the road again in ten minutes with a repair that will see you through a tour (or longer)

Crafty Plugger: Ive used this many times to repair both mine and others punctures. Simple to use, no mess, plugged and away within 15 minutes,  provided you carry a compressor with you. I use an Airman 12v compressor.....small but powerful.
