I'm not sure but I think the connector is inside the throttle body and then is activated by dealer (a green dash 'fog' light icon turns on when in use), inside the dash or the box under the seat. You may be able to find it on the wiring diagram inside your owners manual. I did not do this myself. Since the dealer has to activate it, I just had the ducati LED lights but on and installed during the 600 mi service. For clearwater, I think they have a canbus and outside switch mounted so you don't have to go to the dealer (I know its not inboard and then whats the purpose).
I like the Ducati lights and think they do a very good job lighting the road up like my Bmw 3 series LED headlights. You may ask your dealer about using your own lights and see if they will mount them during the service. I removed all the panels for my service to save on labor time allocated to that, and have them apply it to the actual install of the lights.
