    Things I've learned this week

1 I absolutely love my new Ducati.
2 I absolutely hate my new Ducati.
3 Ducatis have strange wheel nuts
4 Ducati fairing panels use 4 different hex wrench sizes even though the screws have the same thread size.
5 Ducati factory assemblers do not have normally sized joints or appendages. there's no way I could get that fracking screw back in the fairing.(thank god for flexible 1/4" drive extension)
6 I absolutely love my new Ducati
7 Ducati accessories seem to be overpriced items made by someone else
givi top box and tank bag. Touratec rack. Garmin GPS so far noted. there's a guy on eBay sells cheap Ducati badges if you just have to be full designer clad.
8 I absolutely love my new Ducati

Crikey - I've lost track. Perhaps we should start a new thread which has a simple list of all owners stating the colour of their bike. What do you think?
Sometimes you need a really crooked road to get your head straight

It is getting a bit complicated with all the threads so yes,  a simple red or white count thread - great idea.  :047:

:082: First service yesterday after dealer had a cancellation slot from fair weather biker.
I have learnt that Ducati's do work in the rain and fog. They are also unaffected by floods and very strong cross winds. They also do not aquaplane at post running in speeds.
The seat is an excellent holder of water in the crutch area and will provide an excellent way to freeze your nuts off.
