Resetting Service Icon

None of those systems work as the multistrada 950 has the new 4 pin diagnostic port and apparently a Mitsubishi ecu  a 4 pin to obd2 female lead can be purchased for around 25 pound then a obd2 bluetooth adapter to link to your mobile . Many obd2 apps will read certain parts of the bike and clear stored codes  I am hoping that when the service due warning  comes on on my multistrada I have 2000 Miles to go the the software will read the warning as a fault or pending fault and will be able to reset . I also have the lead ready to try on my laptop with a program called melco diagnostic which I got from Jpdiag from  just googling how to reset warning and thread came up on a ducati owner's forum . This software is for Ducati 's after 2015 apparently. It does connect to the bike but the reset oil and service buttons are faded out iam hoping they will go live when they are on on the bike when I plug in the software for resetting time will tell . I am open to any more suggestions to try because part of the enjoyment of owning a bike is being able to work on it myself which I have done for over 35 years

Hello - anything new on the matter, i.e., is there a way to reset the service warning without setting the date back-dated?  Thanks,

According to JP Diag website the MTS950 service can now be reset. I did not tried the latest version but when I tried last year I could only read the Serial #
