    Worrisome wear

    Hi there friends

Checking my bike I found some attrition points.
1.- On the oil hose, from the radiator to the engine's bottom. The pipe touches the water radiator and abrades the plastic cover, even it scratches the metal web  :012: This was solved reorienting the pipes in the engine side, to get some extra milimeters and avoid this issue. I softened the water radiator edge too.
2.- On the exhaust valve steel wire. The frame touches the wire, and abrades the wire's cover  :182: Not solved yet (just put a plastic tape) but in my opinion, bending the support spring to divert the wire from the frame will be enough.

    Please, see the pictures attached.

The other wear point to look out for is the front brake hoses touching the front mudguard didn’t rubbing through the plastic outer sleeve. They are braided steel underneath so no real damage will be done. I simply wrapped some black plastic insulating tape around the hoses at these points.

The exhaust flapper valve control wire did snap on mine. Never found a reason but this is a good candidate.
Anything more than two wheels is unnecessary.

An alternative coating for the brake hoses, and many other appications. I use the Kintsglue from Loctite. This protuct has a chewing gum-like consistency when open the envelope. When it dries it's like hard rubber, but flexible.
