    Tail Tidy?

The big unattractive British style number plate is bringing down the beautiful italian work of art.
Seeming as Ducati have integrated the rear number plate holder with the rear light, it makes tail tidy options a little slim to nill.

Does anyone have any suggestions that would enable me to downsize the plate and have a slightly less ugly arse.   :138:

Just be aware that downsizing the plate may attract the attention of plod. I did same on a previous bike and was stopped and issued with a fine.
    Life is not a rehearsal . . .

The rear plate holder/rear light unit is not one part, I know this as I have had the rear end in 3 bits

Found shop manual w/details on the rear piece. Here is the link:

Also found Motocomposites selling an integrated tail in full CF but they dont have any pictures showing of how it looks on the bike (or installation instructions for that matter). I like to do it myself so it is an important point for me. Here is the link to the part. Looks great but......

Cheers all. I am aware the plod don't like the small plates. I wasn't going to go minute. I just want to downsize it a little to take the eye of it soo much.

So looking at the schematic of the rear bike does explain it a little better for me.

Really useful. So it's section 29 that i thought i'd have to replace, but if i were to take off 25 & 32, that could work??  :187: I'll have a tinker with it at some point.

    Ta all.

    Hey Pegasus,

Check in with Jamie Clare over at https://iconicparts.uk/ as he has been pretty prolific at designing and producing aftermarket parts for the MTS series. I know he's done tail tidy's for some of the earlier years on the MTS. Not sure if he is working on one for the new 950/950S but if he is I will be interested. I have a set of his windscreen spacers. Nice bloke! Check his site out!  :002:

Thanks YoungF - exactly what I have been looking for!
I recently installed a Denali Soundbomb to wake up Facebook surfing car drivers. Easy install and very happy with the result.
I’m considering a CustomLed Blaster-X tail light (link below) to improve visibility and increse probability of getting home in one piece in the evening.
Does anyone have any experience with the Blaster-x?
