Visiting London

Hi all,

For short I will be in London between 27.12 - 01.01, together with my girlfriend. I saw London a few years ago, but just passing on the way to Cardiff. Now I have time to see more than that.

The lady has a big to do list, but the first places of interest for me are Ace Cafe and The Bike Shed! And markets and places with beers!
Can you guys please recommend me other places like these two and some moto shops? Preferably near city center.

Hi Julian,

The Bike Shed is probably worth a visit but The Ace Café is a long way from the City - out near Wembley, although there are two bike meets during your stay - check on their web site.

There's not many bike shops in the centre of London, they're mostly in the suburbs. In-Moto Croydon is one and Ray Petty is possibly the nearest to the centre of London, which is located near the O2 which has shops for the lady.

Re. Markets, in the City there's Leadenhall, Spitalfields and Borough Market. Also Brick Lane on Sunday is worth a visit. All in walking distance from the Bike Shed

The South Bank is also worth a visit this time of year, plenty of market stalls & places to find a beer or two.

Ace Cafe it's with "?", because or the distance, yes. I am visiting a friend, so let's say I will have a guide.
Probably the Bike Shed will be enough, I have a lot of stuff in mind for those days.
