Winter has slowed us down.  In an effort to create some chatter, help warm us up.
Anyone think they can guess what Happened here.

Looking at the sticker on the side which says holiday bikes, i would presume itís a rental bike that has been dropped & part way though being picked up
If I had a second brain cell it would be so lonely......

As a cyclist, first thought was they are flipping it over to remove a wheel to fix a puncture  :008:

Maybe they are trying to drain the brake fluid..... By removing the lid on the reservoir by the handlebar......    :745:

Draining diesel from the tank...?? Appears to be some staining of the ground onder the tank.

Well at least I woke a few of you up.

BabyD As they say at BMW rider training "Its a Rental Don't Be Gentle" NO
Brown Trousers I think I could get the well off without having to Lift up 525lbs and hold it for a few minutes. NO
    Brake fluid  :745: agreed
Nev I guess your not the sensitive one in the group.  :192:
Julian and once we turned it over to get the screw that fell in the frame it then fell in the grass and was lost again.  :008: NO
mcinlb  I guess you have put Diesel in your tank before.  :138: :138: :138:

On my last overseas trip in France I was so smart as to not notice that the gas pump was so sun faded that I did not see the color yellow because it was white.
My wife beside herself thinking I killed the rental with my mistake and stuck without help, not having complete knowledge of fuel pump.
A situation which on my Harley would have been so easy without any thought to drain.
Anyway only the Multistrada tool kit and a leather-men tool and a guy willing to help me.  This seemed to be a quick and easy solution.
Besides its a rental.   I pushed it up a small hill and we fliped it to empty rolled it back down put some gas in then tryed to start but NO.  So we repeated the exercise and after the second attempt killed the battery trying to start it.
Then finding a jump and many starts eventually the fuel cleaned and ignited.
Got back on the road two hours behind schedule and right into the storm, pouring rain lasted only a few miles.
    two more hours to hotel.
My wife was great.  Never called me any names. But she did say at breakfast.  You have to be more careful when we are traveling in foreign country.
Yes dear.  I should have checked better  :230: :172:
It was still a great day on the road.   :305:
    Its all about the attitude.
    Always remain positive.

No, not me, but I recognise the symptons and to play fair, my mate nearly did the same in the USA with the different colored(American) pump handles.  :001: :001:
