    Hello
Still trying to arrange this years 1 week motorcycle trip in September. Travelling from ijmuden ferry, can anyone advise if we were to get to the German/ polish border and in to western Poland, is there any decent motorcycling to be had in this area as we would be keen to explore if there is twisty roads, mountains, hills etc.
    Can Anyone advise?
    Thank you

I’ve been through Poland a couple of times, most recently last July. It’s a flat land with no mountains, so I believe. Twice I’ve ridden through the centre on the motorway to get to a destination quickly: Warsaw two years back and Latvia last year. Coming back from my trip around the Baltics I followed the Polish coast line to Germany. The roads were unremarkable but I enjoyed the riding; great scenery, lovely towns and villages and very welcoming people. But, not up there in the list of great motorcycling roads.

Warming up an old post  :001:

The northern European Plain is very well named so if you want to enjoy two wheels in Poland, consider heading south. If you base yourself somewhere like Krakow, you can day trip to Zakopane and on to the mountains of Slovakia.

A hilly area of interest is Western Poland that borders with the Czech Republic. I stayed in Karpacz for a few nights and did couple of days rides in western Poland and eastern Czech Rep. An incredible geological site to see is Adršpašské skály in Czech Rep. https://www.skalyadrspach.cz/#googtrans(cs|en)

There is enough riding in the area to keep you entertained for at least a few days. Good walking too if you wish a day off the bike. Most of the roads have been put on Google Street view so virtual tourism is available.
    Kind Regards,
