    First ride :)

Hey all, I collected my 950S on Wednesday and today managed to get out for my first ride. What can I say, this bike is brilliant, even maintaining throttle under the recommended 6,000rpm is a piece of cake as their is plenty of power to keep you amused. Here in Oz at the moment the weather has been really heating up, temps in the low 40’s today (Celsius that is). I still managed to put 300kms on the odometer, so only 700kms to go 👍. Took a few B roads and headed out to do the Putty (a fairly popular ride for the biking community) and as hot as it was, it was fantastic. Plenty of opportunity to scrub in the new tyres 😁. The gear box is incredibly smooth and the quick shifter is amazing. The grin factor in this bike is absolutely unbelievable. Happy riding everyone!!

You sound suitably impressed, not surprising given the beautiful bike you’ve got. But please, do not keep going on about the heat....it’s heated gear all the way here in the UK  :008:

Hi BabyD, yes it’s the genuine bash plate (Touratech).

I'm tempted to get the bash plate.

IMO it changes the look of the bike and helps protect all the muck getting on the down pipe.

    Only downside is the price!

Look at the IBEX bash plate - I think it looks better, although it took some fitting.  I think they are £144 (or £80 if you grab a deal on here!)

class looking bike. I had one of the first 950 multies. Got it on May 2017 and it was a great bike and am now thinking of buying another one and yours really looks the part. Happy biking.
