    Changing driving mode

    Hi everyone,
Today I tried to change the driving mode on my 2019 950 S which I have done a few times since I bought the bike (August 2019) by going through the Menu to Riding Mode to Sport (from Touring) and back to menu but once it goes back to main screen the Touring mode has not moved and display shows 'Touring"...Any thoughts??

Did you press and hold the indicator button for three seconds with the throttle in the closed position?

    Hi Moto45,
Thank you for your response and help. I wasn't pressing the mode/enter button 3 seconds. Once I did it worked...Thank you...Also the confusion was that I would go into the menu  to Riding Mode then to Sport (from Touring) and back to menu. I found out that holding the Mode/Enter button 3 seconds needs to be done from the main screen when the setting is lined up with "Menu"...then it takes you to the different options...Anyway, Thanks again and stay safe....

You’re welcome, glad you got it resolved. It does seem confusing at times, especially if you haven’t changed settings in a while. My problem is I also have a Desert Sled and there’s no similarity between the two bikes instrument settings.

Ducati et moi, I find it very easy to change the modes. and I change them quite often. I recommend you to read the manual if you have not already done so, there it's very much useful information on it. I

Hi Julian...Thank you for your reply...Now that I figured it out it is easy but I was wondering...What page in the owner manual are you referring to? My manual is 'Multistrada 950 S.
Where I was getting stuck with my problem was that once I hit the Mode/enter button I was not holding it for 3 seconds first.
By the way Moto45 Ducati highly recommend to not do this while driving for safety reasons....drive safe :152:

Better for you is to read the entire manual. The info about Riding Modes start at page 64, but the more you read, the more detailed it is.
You can change the modes while riding with no problem at all, for load and modes change the is a "shortcut" so you will not need to go to the entire menu.

For the record, I have no problem at all changing modes while “driving”, I do it often. A closed throttle is necessary for the changes to settings if you are underway.
