    EBC Brake Pads - Rear

Afternoon all.  I recently checked my brake pads (still on the originals) to find the fronts were fine, while the rear was a bit low on remaining friction material.  Makes me laugh - genuine Ducati rear brake pads are £81 a pair!  Brembo are approx £35 from Sports Bike Shop, and EBC HH are £15 from the same.  I'm sure some will prefer Brembo, but I've used EBC sintered HH pads on many other bikes and found them to be great.  In case folks want to know the EBC part number for rear pads, it's FA181HH.  EBC do not list the 950 Multistrada, so I had to remove mine to measure and check which Multistrada model looked right.  Anyone replaced the front pads with EBC HH and know the right part number?

Agreed on sintered pads - big improvement in performance!
I've use Galfer sintered pads on all my bikes.

Not a problem, to be fair the EBC website isn't the easiest to navigate around....

The EBC pads are OK but don't bother with their disks (rotors). Mine were terrible (warped) and EBC just didn't want to know.

Unfortunately there are not many places to get replacement brake disks, I still haven't found anybody but Ducati doing the rear (Brembo I guess). I ended up going to an Italian company who where selling genuine Brembo a lot cheaper than anyone in the UK. More expensive than EBC but who wants crap brakes.
Anything more than two wheels is unnecessary.

Had some grinding when moving the bike around.
Stopped at the dealer today.   Took a look rear brake metal to metal.  6700 miles and the rotor is bad also.  Trail braking very hard I guess.   Gonna be $503.00.
Life behind bars enjoy the ride
