    Front screen mount rattle

I've noticed a bit of a buzz/rattle at idle from around the front screen fairing. Had a better look at it today and can see a bit of free play where the front support bar slides through a Bush. But it's not a gap in the hole as the bar appears to be flush with it but more a movement in the Bush itself.

I've tried to up load a video to show it better.

Video not allowed by looks of it. The movement and rattle comes from the black bush that the screen bar slides through.

I've had this problem - it was eventually resolved under warranty by my dealer.  It's wear / loose tolerance on the bush the screen bar moves within.  They should replace the bush as it's a known niggle on other MS too.  Hope you can get it resolved!

Thanks for that. It will have to wait for a bit yet. I took an extended warranty when I got the bike in January. Hopefully this will be covered.

Thought I would provide an update. My warranty wouldn't cover this so I bought the balljoint fixing at only £10 from my local ducati dealer.

Finally decided to replace it yesterday. Turns out that it wasn't too difficult. I removed the front fairing. This includes the screen and mounting which the clocks/dash are also attached to.

All back together and no more loose joint. 😎
