    A lot of what he advocates is taught on the IAM motorcyclist training and qualification. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to be a safe and confident rider.

    Yep, much of RoSPA is there too. Not so sure of where he talks of chopping the throttle mid corner - I was always taught to maintain a positive throttle throughout until opening up for the exit.

    The comment.... treat every single person as if they are out to get you - is probably the best simple sentence of advice - although he mentions a lot of good one liners.

    Sometimes we find our minds drift off whilst enjoying riding whilst thinking of other things, eg work, what to do when you get back home, what farkle to get next for the bike  :164:

    Having said that, most of his comments are common sense and those of us that have been riding for many years (sometimes with lessons learnt experiences) do all the things he mentions automatically without even thinking about them anymore.
