Taken advantage of the lockdown to fit some spots. All the parts came off ebay, lights, brackets and wiring harness. Live feed from satnav connector but i can still switch on/off with button fitted to dash  :152:

    Very nice!
Where did you find the GPS wiring harness? Easy to find/identify?

Have the exact same project (and items source) waiting on my backlog of "to be done".....

    hi
there's a 2 pin connector under the left hand black ducati panel that comes live with the ignition on.
    easy to find.
    good luck  :001:

As well as the sat-nav power connector is there is also a similar connector that is used for the keyless fuel cap ( just takes a little more looking for)

So found the GPS wiring (quite easy, thanks for the tip @steveg1211), installed the lights after struggling a little with the lack of space to work on, and went for a ride.

As the saying goes "you get what you pay for"...... after less than 20 minutes of highway speeds one of the lights lost its lens and detached from its bracket. Luckily I had sip tied the wiring to the crash bar so it was hanging just about 5 inches and didn't fall to the ground (dragging all connected wiring out with it).

So net net, successful installation of an unsuccessful item!
