    I was looking at this double USB socket, which supposedly is a straight swap for the DIN connector at the front of bike on BMW's BUT..... on closer inspection there doesn't seem to be enough real estate around the plug to fit & plus I think the connector on the back will be different.

    You can take a look at the Optimate usb sockets and cables. I remember that there aren't so low profile, but it does the job very well. I think I saw a post here with this swap, with the Optimate one. Or on another forum.

    The idea was only to do a straight swap from the din plug to usb, so we don’t have to have an adaptor hanging out  :028:
