Has anybody seen the review of the new 2020 Africa twin???

To me is looks like a twist & go as there is no clutch lever, a park break & only a D N for gear selection, has a lower seat height than previous models

And......APPLE CAR PLAY!!!!!! or should that be Apple bike play  :150:

Doesn't do anything for me, although the colour scheme is ok.

    Its so expensive too!

Sometimes you need a really crooked road to get your head straight

That's so dull I almost fell asleep watching it. (To be honest I was 'working' while it was on. No way I could just have concentrated on that.)

Odd to compare it with the Multistrada 1260 or the GS1250 too.

Agreed - the comparison should be with other 100hp adventure bikes.  It does seem dull compared to the MTS950.....I'll say no more.....

I had a Honda AT DCT for 3.5 years before MTS 950.  Not had a chance to enjoy the MTS properly due to lockdown, but there are some huge differences that I'm noticing at the moment.
MTS definitely has an "agricultural" feel compared to AT - gearshift changes, revs, city traffic moving, and small things like back brake, blood on wrist while trying to get the key in ignition (with tank bag), seat/frame heat, vibration, etc...
On the plus side, the engine noise on MTS is amazing, the feel in the bends and general grin on my face while speeding up, connection to the road.

So all in all, on the Honda DCT you feel like sailing a ship when in corners, and it's a big framed bike. It feels like driving a car in some respect.
With my MTS I'm riding a bike, and it feels like I did 30 years ago - bike with faults, but the grin factor 100% on again.  I'll wait and see after I've done more miles to how do I feel about it...
