Murf - I've done almost 1000 miles and never experienced this.
Sometimes you need a really crooked road to get your head straight

I've noticed it is a longer throw between 5th / 6th than the other changes, but I have not found a false neutral in between.

I had one on the demo bike between 5th and 6th but there is a larger gap between 5th and 6th so it's something I've got used too and never had one on mine.

I had it once. Good job there's a rev limiter. I also noticed that the gear selection stiffened up after the first service oil change. Only done 300 miles since so hopefully it will loosen up again.

I still have that false neutral downshifting from 6th to 5th gear, this is a terrible flaw in Ducati gearbox engineering, because this issue could result in a big accident... I already talk to Ducati Italy, everybody with this issue should send feedback of your gearbox issue, this bikes are too expensive to have problems that can put ourselves in a danger situation, we are riding in two weel not in four :(

Have to say that I've not had this problem, but then again I very rarely go in to 6th gear unless I want to cruise at very illegal speeds for the UK :164:
