I’ve been very happy with my older Givi model, just the right size for hat, phone, pistol, glasses case, etc. It’s very secure and the release works well with the tank ring. You just want to be sure not to leave it on the passenger seat when you pull away from the fuel pump. I was about 30 miles away when I realized it was missing. Talk about panic!

He obviously fitted it incorrectly if he could smell fuel, you only have to remove some of the bolts NOT all as if you do you will break the seal & fuel will leak which sounds lime you friend found out

You can different sizes of tank bag.....the Givi one Moto45 is using is a small one, to compare sizes look at my genuine tank bag in the for sale section

All depends on what you want to carry

I've fitted Givi and I find it good. No smell of petrol and sadly no pistol in it.

Yep same for me - Givi . Fitted fine no problems - and no firearms carries although Gloucester is close to the Forest of Dean so perhaps I should reconsider ....

Nothing inspires confidence more than knowing you’re loaded for bear. It’s a mean world out there... I find ripping on a mountain parkway to be a great escape from the reality these days.
