    Took the Triumph out while my Multi was being serviced. A big improvement over the Tiger 800, the new engine is very impressive, it grew on me the more I rode it. Never thought I'd feel more vibrations on a Triumph triple than a Ducati twin though. A very different bike to the Multi 950, while the Multi says 'book a nice hotel we're off to the Alps' the Tiger (Rally Pro) says 'strap on a tent we're off to Africa'.

    I had a Tiger 800 for 5 years and 30,000 miles It is one of the best bikes I have owned. I had a couple of bikes after a1050 Tiger sport (too heavy) and 1200 Multi (Major engine problems)  But when the 900 came out I decided it was the bike for me and went for a test ride on a GT Pro. I was going to sign on the dotted line if i liked it , however I hated the engine. The vibes at 70 on the motorway made my hands numb and it just sounded like the main bearings were worn. Also the seat was hard and the bars felt too close.  A great looking bike, great tech and a good price, but they spoiled it with the T plane crank engine for me. So I bought a new 950 Multi. :001:
