    2017 Multistrada or 2019 BMW GS 850

I am in the market to buy adventure bike, I am planning to tour long on this bike.

I tested the BMS GS850 today and it was super comfortable and it had the electronic suspension and the ride away price is 18500 AUD. I loved the cruise control on that machine, took them on twisties and it handled so well. Suspension was so plusssssh.

On other hand I am looking at 2017 Multistrada with 23,000km and cost me 13,000AUD it comes with panniers, lowered seat(which I prefer) , engine plates, radiators guarda and crash protector.

Things I will miss on the multi are the electronic suspension, the dash on the BMW, spoked wheels and most importantly the cruise control.

Help me choose a bike. I ride a panigale v4 and I love the bike but I can't be the commute bike or my touring bike.

Why would you choose a Multistrada over the BMW GS850.

    Cheers,
    Prashan

...you can always fit a simple Kaoko throttle friction lock to a 950 - its a cheap and easy add on (about £95 I think mine was). Obviously its nowhere near as good as an electronic cruise control but it does help on long constant speed motorway type journeys for sure

They're both great bikes but the MTS950 is a better road bike. Cruise control would be nice but wire wheels I could do without (GS750 unless you're going offroad). Toss a coin IMHO  :027:
Anything more than two wheels is unnecessary.

Depends on whether you want to stay Ducasti or err... go to the dark side and have a BMW in your garage.

I think the BWM from some angles has a similar look to the Mutley, so I can see why you are attracted to it (in addition to all the added gadgets).

Up to you at the end of the day which one to choose.

I drove the 850 and don't get excited about. Maybe the new Triumph 900 could make me think twice but not the Beemie.
