    Clunky gearbox solved

:046: finally sorted out noisy clunky gearbox.
Having suffered a severe clunky gearbox that sounded like a percussion band with hammers every time I changed gear, I have finally got to the bottom of it. Talking to a Ducati dealer friend, not the one I bought the bike from, he suggested it was a dqs issue which was confusing the software. I disabled the dqs and did not suffer a single clunk on a 30 mile ride. I’ve suffered this noise since day one and was told I had to change gear above 4500rpm. Makes for interesting riding in town. Not only has the percussion band left but all the false neutrals as well.
It’s now going back to dealer but is worrying as it’s now done just over 1000 miles and worried what damage has been done to gearbox.
I can’t believe Ducati still haven’t sorted the dqs system. I can ride again without sounding like a learner changing gear.
