    No dash after new battery

I have a 2019 multisttrada 950s and just replaced the battery. When I turn it on I get the lights and servos but no display. Just flashing Immobilizer lights. It has the Ducati security system installed. Can activate and deactivate the alarm. Just can get it the display on and it won’t start. Dealer here in Indy hasn’t been able to help. Battery was weak when I replaced it but the display was coming on. Just not enough juice to start the bike. Any ideas?

It is very curious that the original battery has already died. Did you use a battery charger on the old one first? It's not impossible, but it's hard for me to believe that in one year the original battery has no life on it.

I had left town for a few  weeks and did not have the battery tender connected.  When I returned the battery had enough charge to turn on the electronics normally but not enough to turn the engine over. I reconnected the charger but it never got enough charge to turn the engine over, just clicking on the starter like a low battery. I replaced the battery with a new one from my dealership because this  was the fastest way to go ride!  Unfortunately the  new battery is working worse than the old one. The dealership says they have never seen this problem and can look at it in two weeks!

The new battery for sure it's in warranty and that's not a nice attitude from the dealer... right now I am thinking only to leave the batteries on the charger longer. What type of charger do you have? The second battery it's a Yuasa?

Trickle charger is a ctek, installed by the dealer. The battery is a new yuasa. It was on the charger overnight with no change. Going to try a new battery today, maybe I got  a defective new one from the dealer.

Keep us posted. Probably it's from the battery...

Put in a brand new battery and no luck. The only thing on the display  is the two flashing red immobilized lights on the top left and right of center . No dash at all. Looks like a haul to the dealer. Replaced the key battery, checked all fuses and connectors still no luck. Power up Sounds normal when I turn the switch, just no dash and no start and the two flashing red lights

had the same issue, no dash , no starting. for me it was the dash fuse. i thought i checked but after i checked again it was kaputt. check fuses and then check again. fun fact horn and dash share same fuse on 2020 950s, thats how i blew mine .
