Indicators both flash

I was being followed for a while today by a friend. At the traffic lights he caught up and said that when I indicated left or right BOTH indicators blinked equally ... looked like hazard warnings. He then went in front and said fronts working fine . Any ideas ?

    You might have a faulty earth wire (ground) some where around the rear end. Try and check all the connectors around that area  :038:
