    Comfort Seat

Just back from a ride after installing the Ducati accessory comfort seat. For reference, I have a 32" inseam, 6' tall. I can't tell any difference in leg reach to ground but it made a significant improvement in riding comfort and leg stretch to pegs. Overall, I'm pleased with the product, (except for the ridiculous price), and give it a thumbs up. One tip I can suggest if you prefer more leg stretch is to swap out the rubber inserts with the passenger pegs which are about 3/8" shorter in height. That move alone made a big difference for me. Be sure to glue them in to insure they don't fall out which has been reported by others.  I also like the look of the seat better without such a deep dip in it too.

Thanks for posting. It doesn't change the look of the bike by much but it does look way more comfortable.  :028:

I have to agree that I'm finding the stock seat quite hard and uncomfortable after a couple of hours in the saddle. So instead of buying the comfort seat I have just purchased a Tourtecs deluxe air cushion which is just like an Airhawk cushion but half the price.
Will let you know what I think of it when tested.

I've got a Airhawk Seat Cushion too. Tried it on both bikes I own and it never worked for me. Feels ok for about a half hour then worse than just the stock seat alone. I didn't like having to strap it down either and it looks just plain awful when off the bike.

    Hi All-

Brand new to the forum and this is my first post.

I currently have the "low" seat option which the dealership put on from the get go. So, I have never even sat on the standard. As you can imagine the low seat isn't that comfortable. Do you think the standard seat will be any better...or should I order the "comfort seat".

I am 5 8" with 30 inseam. I have am pretty good at shifting my butt around (I am on the balls of my feet) to handle the bike at stops...but do you think the extra height on the comfort seat will be too much for me.

By the way, I got the white one!

    Hi dbrasco  :400:
I also got the low seat. If you paid extra for the low seat your dealer should have given you both as the standard seat comes with the bike. From what you say we have the same build. I find the standard seat really comfortable but I can't plant both feet firmly on the floor when I stop. Only collected the low seat last week (haven't fitted it yet) so can't make a comparison.

    Great choice of colour  :821:
