    Fender extenders '19 950s

After a few ride-outs on messy roads  :232: a front fender extender is top priority. I had to put one on my Norge and on my ST3s. Is there a shortage of plastic in Italy  :187:
The rear hugger/flat blade thingy is just about a wast of space - does anyone know of an after-market rear mudguard that works, thanks

Thanks mose40. I agree with you about the looks, not for me. I did notice the front extender looks a bit longer than the Pyramid Plastics one so that looks OK.
I did find something like the 1260 rear hugger but can't make up my mind about it, don't think I like it really but if it works...

Well that's a link and a half, hope it works  :006:

Link works - better option i think but no idea how good it will be - wasn't this standard on the 1200/1260 ?

Very similar except more plain in appearance and only one fixing arm the side of the chain.

A lot of bikes in this category fit a full front mudguard under the beak but rarely a full hugger/mudguard at the rear. A triumph of aesthetics of practicality I suppose.
I agree if you are always "mud-plugging" then full protection would probably lead to other issues but blasting down a rocky trail with small stones flying everywhere  :005:

That long link looks like a Chinese copy of something. They way they pixelate the original manufacturers name from the side arms suggests they haven't even changed that bit yet. Anybody know who the originals belonged to?

    Just came across this:

    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000760281847.html

...better but the small plate on the back puts me off and the appearance of the whole thing, a bit meccano-like. I think I would have to see it in the flesh to make up my mind.

I resolved your issue that was my issue. I declare upfront that the bike is much nicer without it, but I tell you it does its job.
