General maintenance, servicing, and common issues inquiry

Hi all!

I am finally a proud owner of a 2nd hand MTS 950 (2017 model bought brand new in 2018 by the first owner) and am very much happy with the bike. I am also a first time Ducati owner coming from Japanese bikes. I would like to ask a few things if you can help shed light on these. I can't seem to find a thread that summarizes the following:

-Common issues with the 2017 model (like the faulty gear indicator, etc.)
-Desmo service - The bike only has about 14,000+ kilometers on it and the manual says 30,000 kms for the desmo service. Should I have it serviced already since it was bought in 2018?
-Any more watchouts in terms of servicing/maintenance

The belts are scheduled to be replaced on age (4th year old annual service) but the valve adjustment is only done when the engine has done 18,000 miles or 30,000 km

If you look in the owners handbook it states @ what point different things need changing/replacing
