Barkbuster vibration

Question for owners with bark busters

When i first got the multistrada 5 weeks ago i hit a cockatoo and damaged the right hand guard and a couple of days later dropped it and really killed the right hand side hand guard. A trait i seem to have with all new bikes.
When i ordered a new hand guard, i thought it wise to get some barkbusters as well, fitted them up all looked nice of course. But now i get really bad vibration on the throttle side to a point where my fingers go numb in a very short time,  i have flick the cruise on to get some feeling back.

I am very loose on the bars with my hands i alway cover my front brakes with 2 fingers. I am definitely not gripping to tight, I took the barkbusters off and went for a small ride to see if it was me or the busters. No unpleasantness at all

Does someone else have the same problem and if so have you been able to sort it as i would like the barkbusters back on

Well, that’s a first for this forum....a cockatoo! Over here it’s pigeons, pheasant and the odd badger....not quite so exotic.
Sorry, can’t help with the Barkbuster problem.

When you installed the bark busters you have to use the weights of the bark busters.  So if you did the install right then check the tightening of the end screws.  Make sure your attached correctly, unscrew the ends and then reset the screw inserts.  I have no vibration however the steering only at first does not feel as sharp.  This is my experience.
