    tom tom wiring for zumo gps

    I have a tom tom on my 950s (I know, it came with the bike) .... how difficult would changing it over for a zumo but using the already installed tom tom wiring? anyone done this succesfully?

    The TT & Garmin use different connectors, so depending on weather it’s connected directly to the battery or via the GPS feed, you will either need to change cables to battery or cut off & re solder the Ducati connecter on the end of the Garmin power cable

    Thanks will check it out ..... gps connector is under front left(?) panel below fuel cap?

    I looked under there and nothing is immiediately obvious.... will await the garmin's arrival and see what looks useful though.

    sorta tempted to cut off tt below fuse and connect wires to garmin ---- probs unwise?

    Having a Biketrac installed in a fortnight, so will ask them to sort elctrics out and swap out gps
