Any recommendations for the best Xi phone holder/charger for iPhone X please?

Has anyone got some experience they can share of the best phone holder to use given my requirements:

Bar mounted or on frame above dash
Xi charging, with permanent wiring
Can be either landscape or portrait
Don't want any boxy frame or cover

Any tips on how best to wire in the charger as cleanly as possible and so the connection is rainproof?

I think the best choice for you it's the Quadlock mounts.

I've used the quadlock bar-mount kit for years but since it hits the windshield on the new MTS when positioned where I want it, I've ordered the quadlock mount setup from Evotech. Pricey, but looks to be an excellent solution as it holds the phone just above windscreen adjuster – in perfect view and out of the elements.

Just to give you a advanced warning, the vibration dampener or wireless charger from quadlock does not fit on the evotech quadlock mount

Thanks for the heads-up. I have the quadlock knuckle which should alleviate that issue.

Ok, thanks for the positive feedback on Quadlock.  Is there a switched power supply that it  would be safe to leave a wireless charger plugged into and that  would not drain the battery when the bike is parked?

Looks like there are three potential power supplies on the bike (without an auto electrician), one on the right side of the fairing and two under the seat.

Anyone got any experience of which one’s best to use?

I’m using the switched output on the fairing via an USB adapter. I keep each end of the charge cable tucked into a piece of electrical shrink wrap that I attached on the handlebar next to the switchgear on each side.

I ran a 2m cable from the USB socket under the pillion seat to the handlebars, no power drain with ignition off so can leave cable plugged in all the time

Evotech Quadlock mount arrived today. Installed and tested. WOW. The design, fit, and build quality is absolutely top notch.

I ordered the Quadlock specific mount which does not have an issue with mounting the vibration dampener as mentioned in this thread.

They must of made improvements to the design as the original design (few years ago) was just a square bit of metal with the quadlock mound attached to,
